Terry Bicycles has hired David Howard as sales director. Howard worked for 25 years in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, where he gained extensive experience in sales and sales management of inside and independent sales teams.
"Dave, like me, is diving into a new endeavor from another industry with youthful passion for cycling and the outdoors," said Liz Robert, CEO of Terry. "At the same time, his years of professional sales experience will help us achieve a new level of professionalism in our strategic approach to our market and relationships with our customers."
Georgena Terry founded Terry Bicycles in 1985. The Vermont-based company pioneered women's-specific bike design with geometry proportioned to a woman's anatomy.
Advanced Sports International currently licenses the brand and distributes the women's-specific line of bikes.
