Wells Fargo Insurance has selected Michael Murray as senior vice president and managing director for its Charlotte, North Carolina operations, as well as operations in Winston Salem, NC. and Greenville and Columbia, South Carolina, US.
Murray, in his current position, will be responsible to expedite insurance sales and operations within the region, and he will report to John Meehan, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance's Mid-Atlantic region.
"With an extensive understanding of the insurance industry, Mike's strong customer focus ensures that Wells Fargo will maintain a solid relationship with our customers," said Meehan.
Prior to accepting his current role, Murray was spearheading service and risk management initiatives for Wells Fargo Insurance in Charlotte.
He joined Wells Fargo Insurance in 1989, and holds various positions, including client executive, operations officer, and account executive team leader and marketing manager.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance, Murray worked as a broking executive and large lines account executive for Sedgwick of the Carolinas, managing customer relationships both locally and internationally.
