In the January to November period of the current year, Yongcheng, Henan Province based Chinese steel producer Minyuan Special Steel Co a subsidiary of Henan-based Anyang Iron and Steel Group, achieved a total industrial output value of CNY 5.8 billion (USD 929 million), as announced by the municipal authorities in Yongcheng on December 4.
Minyuan Special Steel is the largest producer of construction materials and special steel products in eastern Henan, with fixed assets of CNY 2 billion (USD 318 million). Its annual output capacities of common carbon steel, ferronickel alloy, special steel and stainless steel are 2 million tonne, 100,000 tonne, 1.5 million tonne and 150,000 tonne respectively.
